What We Do

Bonding

Bonding requirements are reviewed per project. Method selection depends on material, geometry and application, and is confirmed during manufacturability review.

From CAD to Delivered Parts

  1. Submit CAD

Send STEP, STP, DXF, PDF or ZIP. A project reference is issued when your files are received.

  2. Manufacturability Review

Yeda coordinates a preliminary manufacturability review before quotation, focused on geometry, material and the characteristics you have marked critical.

  3. Quote & Lead Time

Your quotation states the agreed scope: material, quantity, bonding requirements, inspection and documentation.

  4. International Delivery

Shipment is arranged to your institution or company after the review is complete.

Materials

PMMA

Recommended starting material for rapid prototyping.

Optically clear, well suited to machining, and established in research microfluidics. PMMA is our primary rapid-prototyping material, and the one we suggest as a starting point where an application does not require otherwise.

COC / COP

We can evaluate projects requiring COC or COP, subject to manufacturing review.

PC

We can evaluate projects requiring PC, subject to manufacturing review.

What We Can Include in Your Project

Inspection and documentation scope is defined per project and confirmed in your quotation. Depending on your requirements, a project may include:

  • Preliminary manufacturability review before you commit
  • Material documentation, subject to supplier availability

How inspection scope is agreed

Why Engineering Teams Work With Yeda

Engineering-focused communication

You will discuss geometry, tolerances and drawing revisions — not sales scripts.

International project management

Documentation, correspondence and delivery handled for cross-border research procurement.

One point of contact from CAD to delivery

One Yeda point of contact follows the project from review through shipment.

Scope

Projects begin with customer-supplied designs. Yeda coordinates manufacturability review and project delivery.

We do not provide CFD simulation, fluidic functional design, assay development or complete IVD product design.
