Applications
Academic Research
Research projects may involve small prototype quantities while the geometry is still evolving, with revisions between batches.
We work directly with the person who designed the chip rather than through a procurement layer that has to relay technical questions.
Biotechnology R&D
Internal development programmes where the fluidic component is one part of a larger system, and where knowing which drawing revision produced which batch matters because the work will be reviewed internally later.
Lab-on-a-Chip Development
Iterative geometry development, where the same design is produced across several revisions as the concept is refined. Machining can support iterative PMMA revisions without requiring dedicated mould tooling for each design change, although programming, fixturing or machining setup may still change.
Diagnostics R&D
Research-stage development components for diagnostic assay development. Please read the scope note below.
Life Science Instrument Development
Fluidic parts that interface with a larger instrument assembly — flow cells, manifolds, cartridges — where dimensional interface requirements and repeatability across a batch are the governing concerns.
What We Do Not Supply
V1 is intended for research and product-development projects. Yeda does not make clinical-use or medical-device compliance claims for the service.
We also do not provide CFD simulation, original fluidic functional design, biological assay design, reagent chemistry development, or complete IVD product design.
