Upload Your CAD for Manufacturability Review

Send your design for a preliminary manufacturability review. Where something in the geometry is likely to present a difficulty, you hear about it before a quotation — rather than after a batch.

What Happens After You Submit

  1. Your files are received and a project reference is issued. Correspondence references it.
  2. Yeda coordinates a preliminary manufacturability review of the geometry, material and critical characteristics.
  3. You receive either a quotation with agreed scope, or specific questions where the design needs clarification.

Application
Material & Quantity
PMMA is our primary rapid-prototyping material. If you are unsure, select Not Sure and describe what the chip has to do.
Process Requirements
Bonding Required Bonding requirements are reviewed per project. Method selection is confirmed during manufacturability review.
Surface Treatment
Drawing Upload
A 3D file tells us the shape. A 2D drawing tells us which dimensions matter. Sending both produces a more useful review.

Accepted: STEP, STP, DXF, PDF, ZIP. 25 MB per file, 50 MB total submission.

Technical Requirements

All optional.

Anything here that affects whether the part works is worth stating now. Requirements raised after quotation may require re-quoting.

What We Cannot Review

Projects begin with customer-supplied designs. Yeda coordinates manufacturability review and project delivery.

We do not provide CFD simulation, original fluidic functional design, biological assay design, reagent chemistry development, clinical diagnosis claims, or complete IVD product design.

If your fluidic function is not yet defined, we are glad to discuss manufacturability — but the functional design needs to come from you or your collaborators.
